What is a Nonogram?

A nonogram (also called picross or griddler) is a logic puzzle where you fill cells in a grid based on number clues. Each number tells you how many consecutive cells should be filled in that row or column. When multiple numbers appear, there must be at least one empty cell between each group of filled cells.

How to Play Emoji Nonogram

1. Pick a puzzle — choose from easy (5×5), medium (8×8), or hard (10×10) grids
2. Read the clues — numbers on the left show row patterns, numbers on top show column patterns
3. Fill cells — click to place an emoji, right-click (or long-press) to mark empty cells with ✕
4. Use logic — cross-reference row and column clues to determine which cells must be filled
5. Reveal the picture — when all cells are correct, you'll see the hidden emoji art!

Tips for Solving

• Start with rows or columns that have the largest numbers — these have fewer possible positions
• If a number equals the grid size, the entire row/column is filled
• Mark cells you know are empty with ✕ to keep track of your logic
• Look for overlaps: if a group of 4 must fit in 5 spaces, at least 3 cells in the middle must be filled
• Completed rows and columns turn green so you can focus on what's left
